"Skyggespil" roughly translates to "Shadow play". For Mads, the title is about the naive world of a fairy tale he dreams away into when melancholy hits him. The release is inspired by the way of using shadows in literature and includes references to the poem "Paa Sneen" ("On the snow") by poet Emil Aarestrup where the shadow of two people sensually mix up on an abstract level. The artwork supports the stories about the impossible love which "Skyggespil" tells.
